Care for the different skin types.
Normal skin
Normal skin is neither too dry nor too oily. Has balanced hydration levels, practically this type of skin is the ideal condition. That's why it's also called healthy. Normal skin has barely visible pores and no severe sensitivity. Looks smooth, moisturized. Lacks or has minor imperfections.
Recommended skin care: ensuring optimal skin hydration, providing a strong protective skin barrier layer and use of sunscreens always when exposed to ultraviolet light
Dry skin
Dry skin has no shine and pores are barely visible. This type of skin is lacking in softness because it is dehydrated. In extreme cases the skin is flaky and cracked, has red spots, lack of radiance and lack of elasticity. The skin easily becomes inflamed, cracked, flaky ar itchy.
Recommended skin care: use of soft and gentle soaps and cosmetic cleansers, regular and frequent application of moisturizing cosmetics and avoiding exposure to ultraviolet light without first using sunscreens.
Oily skin
Oily skin is usually shining, especially in the area of the forehead, nose and chin. It feels greasy and the pores are enlarged and clearly visible. Often suffer has acne or black spots (comedones). During puberty or other hormonal imbalances, in case of stress, in excessive heat or in excessively humid conditions, the oily skin becomes sharpened.
Recommended skin care: use of cosmetics and washes intended for oily skin, use of cosmetic products intended to dry the skin, mattify it and shrink pores.
Combination (mixed type) skin
Combination skin is almost identical to normal skin. However, it may be dry or normal in some areas, while in others it may be greasy. Often it is oily in the T-zone (area of face including forehead, nasal bridge, nose, chin) and dry/normal on the cheeks.
Recommended skin care: ensuring optimal skin hydration, use of cosmetics and washes intended for oily skin on the problem areas, use of sunscreens always when exposed to ultraviolet light
Sensitive skin
Sensitive skin can be both dry and oily, but in both cases it is susceptible to different types of inflammation, irritation and infection. It usually reacts sharply to chemical, physical and bacterial irritants or allergens. It is easily injured and difficult to recover. That is why this type of skin needs more specific cosmetic products.
Recommended skin care: ensuring optimal skin hydration, use mild products without fragrance and harsh ingredients, avoid harsh scrubs, try to find out what your triggers are so you can avoid them.
