Cream with Arnica is a useful addition to any first-aid collection. Arnica extract has anti-inflammatory and analgesic action. It may be used to help relieve pain, discomfort and swelling from injuries including bruises, sprains, strains and pulled muscles and to ease muscular and rheumatic pain, arthritis and stiff joints. Arnica can also be used on chilblains but it should not be applied if the skin is broken as it may cause irritation. The cream absorbs quickly and leaves no residue. It is thought that Arnica works by stimulating the activity of white blood cells which process congested blood, and by dispersing trapped fluids from joints and muscles and bumped and bruised tissue, while its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action helps to reduce pain and swelling. In virtually all cases, Arnica Cream was the favoured option for its effectiveness in treating bruises and swelling.
Indications: Bruises, sprains, strains, pulled muscles, other muscular pain, arthritic & rheumatic pain and stiffness.
Directions: Apply the cream to affected areas and massage gently. May be used once or twice a day. Wash hands after applying the cream.
